Explosion protection poppet valve in stainless steel execution AEXd2206_K9

Wandfluh has extended the proven flange poppet valves for the modular valve assembly with a execution for use in explosive, harsh and corrosive environments. The valve is made of stainless steel (AISI 316L) and can switch volumes up to 40 l/min at up to 350 bar. In the closed position, the metallically sealing seat closes the valve practically leakage-free. The universally usable valve has a large number of diverse explosion protection certificates: ATEX, IECEx, UL/CSA, EAC, Nepsi, MA, Inmetro and Australia.

Thus, it can be used worldwide in installations up to explosion protection zone 1 or zone 21 as well as for mining. The solenoid coil and the armature tube are extremely well protected against corrosion by their zinc/nickel coating (1000h in salt spray test). The direct operated valve of nominal size NG6 is available as a 2/2-way function, as normally open or normally closed, with the designation AEXd2206...K9, and as a 3/2-way function with the designation AEXd3206...K9. Applications are found where tight closing of lines is required, such as, for example, holding a load with a 2/2-way function. With the 3/2-way function, an actuator can be operated or a large valve pilot operated.
